AmaKhosi centre-back Morgan Gould has told the club website that he is recovering well from a knee injury he suffered towards the end of last season
Gould has confirmed that his road to recovery looks promising, and he is hoping to be part of the AmaKhosi pre-season although he doesn’t want to rush into action.
“I am doing light workout at the moment as a part of the rehabilitation process. I feel that I am making a steady progress towards recovery,” said Gould.

The former SuperSport United captain had a frustrating first season with AmaKhosi due to long term injuries, but he always put up match-winning performances whenever given the chance to play.
He also returned to the national team soon after his recovery from the first injury, but he then lost his place to the likes of Thabo Nthethe and Eric Mathoho.
However, the 30-year-old Gould is expected to walk straight into the Chiefs starting line-up in the new season, as AmaKhosi will need their best players to help them defend their two titles and also do well in the Caf Champions League.
