From the PSL there were Benni McCarthy, Stanton Fredericks and Arthur Bartman retiring, but the 37-year-old Orlando Pirates captain will play on through the twilight of his career.
Speaking to Goal, Lekgwathi said that at the moment he has not considered hanging up his boots at all.
"I think I am still going to play next season as well. My body has not been failing me yet, and so I believe I can still add value and contribute positively to Orlando Pirates," said Legkwathi.

The Ga-Rankuwa born player finished last season on a high note as he displayed great leadership despite the club failing to win any silverware.
"Last season was hectic, as we gave it our all and I am hoping that we will improve more next seson. So long as my bones are not letting me down, I plan to stay and (then one day) retire at Pirates," he said.
