Black Leopards require a win against Orlando Pirates in Soweto in order to sustain their bid for PSL survival
Leopards need convincing wins in their final two games in order to entertain hopes of staying in the PSL next season. They will also need Chippa United and Ajax Cape Town to slip up in their final PSL games this weekend.
Leopards will eye Pirates poor home form which has seen the defending champions lose their last two home games. However, Leopards have not won a single PSL game in six attempts.
The league bottom-dwellers lost their last game 5-2 against Mamelodi Sundowns and may face a wounded warrior in the form of Orlando Pirates, who relinquished their title defence last weekend.
“We’ve been playing crucial matches for a long time but this is truly a do-or-die game for us," Leopards captain Mongezi Bobe told Backpage Txt.
“We know it’s not going to be an easy match against Pirates but I think we need this more than them and I hope we’ll show it out there on the field.”
