Mthiyane’s PSL future looks bright with AmaZulu lurking

National First Division leading striker Nkosinathi Mthiyane might find himself in the PSL next season, either with his current club Thanda Royal Zulu or AmaZulu
The striker made a name for himself as he banged over 14 goals for Thanda Royal Zulu in the National First Division. AmaZulu coach Craig Rosslee said he would like to have the player in his books.

“I would most definitely love to have a closer look at his performance. I think it is really rare to find a striker who can finish with that margin in South Africa,” said Rosslee.

Rosslee is a strong believer of giving midfielders an opportunity to score and that players must be creative in the match. He said what he likes most about Nyathi is that; he can score goals from all angles.

“Having a player that can bang goals in from all the angles in the park will be great. As part of our mission next year, we want to ensure that we score (most of) the opportunities that we create,” he said.

Although there are other PSL clubs who are keen on the player, it looks like AmaZulu have an upper hand as he is the product of the club.

In his early club career, Mthiyane played for the reserve side of AmaZulu, so should he sign with the club, he will feel at home.
