Former Bafana Bafana midfielder Quinton Fortune has been included in the Manchester United Legends side that will face Real Madrid at the Old Trafford on June 2 to raise funds for the Manchester United Foundation.
Fortune has since been training with the team’s reserve side to get himself into a good shape for the Spanish giants.
With Sir Alex Ferguson quitting as United manager at the end of the season, Fortune believes that the Red Devils have a bright future from what he has seen in the reserve side.
“The talent is there. It is down to them now. They have the opportunity to play for Man United, but they have to keep working hard and progressing,” Fortune told the Football Week.
The 35-year-old Fortune who made 76 appearances for Man United between 1999 and 2006, will get an opportunity to face Zinedine Zidane and Luis Figo who will both join a host of Real Madrid legends.
