Whilst Wits are having problems in their goalkeeping department, former Kaizer Chiefs player Kabelo Metsimetsi is now training with the club
Goalkeeper Metsimetsi is hoping for a new contract at Wits, after parting ways with Kaizer Chiefs last season.
His timing comes in a time where Wits leading goalkeepers are out, and even veteran Andre Arendse became an option.

According to Metsimetsi's manager, Lwazi Mazibuko, the player is indeed searching for a club and should everything go well then he will sign with Wits.
“For now he is just training with the club, and if he impresses, we are hoping that he can get the contract there,” he said.

A source inside Wits also told Goal that the player started training with the club on Friday.
“He has been training with the club since Friday. I think he is going to train until the end of the season and I think the decision will be taken from there,” said the source.
