Former Pirates and Sundowns defender Innocent Mdledle has told Goal.com that he has grown from past mistakes
The talented SuperSport United defender said that he is happy that he is now matured after controversial incidents saw him in hot water at former clubs.
“I am now a grown man. Everybody needs to grow otherwise we are not doing anything. I am glad that I have played for those big teams, but most importantly I am now a better person than I was back then,” he said.

He said he is hoping to win the Nedbank Cup with SuperSport United especially, and lift help the club to finish in the top four.
“I want to win the Nedbank Cup with SuperSport. That is what matters the most right now. I know that we still have a chance of winning the Champions trophy. I believe that the coach has a good squad that is why we are doing so well,” he said.
He also added that being at SuperSport has increased his confidence and he is hoping that he will do well in the remaining fixtures for the club.

“We have quite a number of talented players that contribute to the success of the team. Yes, my experience does play a role, but I believe that it is the team effort that helps us to cope even when there is pressure. In the remaining fixtures we must try to be consistent and make sure that we use the opportunities that we create,” he said.
