Josta: Kaizer Chiefs players need to stand together as a team spoke with the AmaKhosi midfielder Josta Dladla about his lack of game time under Stuart Baxter and the possibility of Chiefs claiming the PSL title

Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Josta Dladla has told that he is not worried about his lack of game time under coach Stuart Baxter, because he believes that team has been doing well.

Dladla has mainly been used as an impact player this season and he came off the bench to score an important goal against Bloem Celtic over two weeks ago.

“I am not obsessed about playing every game. I have been enjoying myself here. The team has been doing well and I am professional enough to understand that,” Dladla told

“It always feels good when the team wins, because all the players are happy and that is why I am happy regardless who plays. We just need to stand together as a team,” he said.

Dladla is hoping Chiefs could clinch the league title before the last day of the season to avoid pressure, having done so well the entire season.

However, he is expecting tough games against Ajax Cape Town and SuperSport United before visiting University of Pretoria.

“We have been under pressure from the first day and I think we have done well to sustain it. I wish we could just win the league before the last game. There is a lot of pressure on the last day and I don’t want us to go through that,” said Dladla.

“We are playing Ajax on Wednesday and we expecting a tough one. SuperSport United will also be tough, but we’ve got to beat them to be champions,” added Dladla.
