The Usuthu player’s contract was due to end in June, but management has decided to extend it for a year.
“I can confirm that we have extended Dlamini’s contract for over one year and we shall take it from there and see how he progresses,” said AmaZulu general manager Peter O’ Connor.
Another player whose future with Usuthu is uncertain is Tsweu Mokoro whom nothing much has been said. His contract is due to end this June and the coach has not given much information whether he will need his services or not.
The general manager also made it clear that players like Bongani Ndulula, Makhosonke Bhengu to mention a few, are still safe at the club.
“All the players that arrived with the coach are safe. He has great faith in them and I am sure he is going to use them effectively to benefit the club,” he said.
Goodman Dlamini has had a great season for AmaZulu and he has teamed up well with Ayanda Dlamini up front. The arrival of assistant coach Wilfred Mugeyi might be the sweetener for these players as he made it clear that he wants to sharpen the strikers finishing.
