Pirates have confirmed on the club website that midfielder Oupa Manyisa is back with the rest of the team after missing the last two games
Manyisa missed his team’s last two games against Free State Stars and TP Mazembe due to a groin injury, but he is back to boost Pirates’ chances of dethroning Chiefs at the summit of the PSL log.
“I feel good. The injury was not serious, but I felt pain every time I ran so the medical team advised that I miss the match against Free State Stars and TP Mazembe,” said Manyisa.
“I have been out of action for the past week, but I am now doing full training and looking forward to working my way back into the team,” he said.
Pirates’ Physical Trainer Japheth Borges confirmed that Manyisa has rejoined his teammates and he promised to help him get back to full fitness to be able to play against the Clever Boys.
“He (Oupa) trained with the guys in the gym and now he is back to do some more training with us in the afternoon. He responded well to the treatment and now we will try to get him to work hard and get back in the team,” said Borges.
