Former Mpumalanga Black Aces coach has been appointed as the new Chippa United coach following the dismissal of Wilfred Mugeyi
Harrison becomes the sixth coach to serve Chippa this season, and his mandate is to save it from relegation. This follows after Wilfred Mugeyi had lost seven games in a row.
Chippa made their debut in the top flight earlier this season, quickly firing their coach Roger Sikhakhane who had qualified the team to the PSL. He was brought back again to assist in the technical department.
Whilst most people were expecting him to take over from Mugeyi, the team management chose otherwise as they brought Harrison into the frame.
The team is now at the bottom of the log with only 16 points and their chances of survival is minimum.
