Dikwena head coach Cavin Johnson tells Goal.com that their focus is mainly on the Nedbank Cup than the PSL title

Platinum Stars coach Cavin Johnson has told Goal.com that he has forgot about winning the PSL title and he has set his sight on the Nedbank Cup trophy.

Despite trailing the log leaders by seven points with a game in hand, Johnson believes that Kaizer Chiefs are nothing but the 2012/2013 PSL champions.

“I have always told my colleagues that the league has been won by Kaizer Chiefs already. I think they will drop a few points in their remaining games, but I honestly think that they have done well to be crowned the PSL champions,” Johnson told Goal.com.

“We are now focusing on the Nedbank, because I believe it is the only trophy available to us this season and not the league title,” he said.

Dikwena remain the only team to have defeated Chiefs in the league this season and the two sides will meet again in the next few weeks, but Johnson refused to admit that his team still has a chance.

“We are going to play them away and that makes it even more difficult for us. They have improved from that result and are a better side now,” added Johnson.
