Pirates will have to continue their title race without defender Siyabonga Sangweni who will not feature in the next three to five weeks
“Sangweni will be out for the next three to five weeks. It is indeed a worrying factor for all of us. I guess at this point we have to use what we have and try to give our best in each and every match that we have,” he said.
Sangweni’s role was going to be seen when the team plays the second leg of the African Champions trophy as well. De Sa said they are going to give it their best and they are hoping that the opposition will come hard at them.
“I know there are a couple of our players who are out, due to injuries but this is no time to complain, as we need to go out there and fight. Most teams become reserved when they are playing against us. I think it is much better playing at home in the PSL matches, because you have a clue about what to expect rather than teams that you are not aware of. We are taking both the PSL and African matches very seriously, and we prepare for both very hard, if not more on the PSL,” he said.
