David Mathebula tells Goal.com that Swallows players are more than ready to face Free State Stars in their PSL clash at the Dobsonville Stadium on Friday evening
Moroka Swallows midfielder David “DVD” Mathebula has told Goal.com that his teammates are more than ready to face Free State Stars on Friday night, emphasizing the importance of containing Ea lla Koto.
Mathebula is however, aware of how dangerous the Free State outfit is, and will be towards them especially with a few more league games to go.
“Free State Stars is very dangerous and they are not going to change much against us. We are expecting a tough game from them tomorrow (on Friday). But I think we need these three points more than they do. Hence it is important that we do well against them,” Mathebula told Goal.com.

The former Kaizer Chiefs dribbling wizard believes that Swallows will finish within the top eight teams, which will enable them to defend their MTN8 trophy.
“The whole team is confident that we will make the top eight. We have done well in our last game and hopefully we will continue doing well in our remaining games,” said Mathebula.
Mathebula admitted that he is getting closer to the end of his playing days, and he is still happy to be at Swallows. However, the 29-year-old midfielder said he would relish a move back to Naturena given the opportunity.
“It is true that age is not on my side anymore but I must say that I am happy here, as it’s been like home. If I could choose where I want to finish my career then I would choose Chiefs but having said that, it is just a wish. I am here now and I am happy,” added Mathebula.
