After impressing in the Nedbank Cup, Mothusi Gopane has attracted offers from Premier Soccer League clubs
Gopane told Goal.com that his focus at the moment is doing well for his club and he is leaving the negotiations to his manager.
“At the moment my focus is on my club, so I cannot really say much about where I would like to play, because I am still contracted at Polokwane City,” said Gopane.
The midfielder impressed a lot of people and even in their defeat against Chiefs he was one player that kept troubling the opposition. He said he is working hard at improving on his game, but he wants to take things one step at a time.
“I enjoyed playing in the Nedbank Cup as it really gave me a lot of exposure, although everything that I did was for the club and not about me. It feels good to know that there are some offers, but I think it will be wise to discuss those offers once my contract is over with Polokwane City,” he said.
A source close to Gopane told Goal.com that the player is interested in playing for Free State Stars.
“I did have a chat to him about which club he would like to play, and he confirmed that it was Free State Stars. I personally feel that by so doing he will be making a good move and he will get more game time there,” said the source.
