Bartlett: Bafana should beware of foreigners with PSL experience South Africa spoke to former Bafana Bafana striker Shaun Bartlett, who believes that the foreign players from the PSL will be a major threat
Experience can never be purchased anywhere, says Golden Arrows assistant coach Shaun Bartlett to He adds that Bafana Bafana defenders should expect a major challenge from foreign players who have Premier Soccer League experience.

“They have spent their time playing in these conditions and obviously they know what to expect. It will be up to them to use that advantage to work on their side. If they can communicate the message clear to the rest of their teammates they will be in a great advantage,” said Bartlett.
However, shouldn't our local Bafana players be able to know the tricks of their attackers trade better?

“It should be a win-win situation as our defenders play with some of these players. One important factor that will help the foreign players is their experience which they will draw onto the rest of the squad,” he said.

“Some of the foreign players who have played in South Africa and those who are still contracted with the South African team will come out wanting to prove a point. Because of their experience with South African football they should be the favourites to get the game time,” added Bartlett.
This is evident after Pirates based striker Collins Mbesuma scored the winner for Zambia against Bafana recently.
