Serero was one of the players who was expected to feature against Botswana at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on SaturdayBafana Bafana media man Matlhomola Morake has confirmed that midfielder Thulani Serero will no longer be part of the squad that will face Botswana on Saturday.
Serero has been told to leave the camp for "disciplinary reasons", and he is certainly out of the clash and possibly going to face the music after tomorrow's game.
Morake broke the news on his twitter account on Friday night, although the reasons for Serero's expulsion are yet to be known.
"Thulani Serero has been released from the Bafana Bafana camp due to disciplinary reasons. Igesund will only comment after match tomorrow," tweeted Morake.
It remains to be seen whether Igesund will be able to address the issue to the media after the match, as they will be travelling to Johannesburg to face Zimbabwe on September 10.
