Gordon Igesund has named a strong squad for Bafana Bafana's World Cup qualifier against Botswana

The Bafana Bafana squad which will play Botswana in a vital 2014 World Cup qualifier on September the 7th has been unveiled by coach Gordon Igesund.

Bafana Bafana have to ensure a result against Botswana in order to have a chance to qualify for the next stage of 2014 World Cup qualification, with their progress also dependant on Ethiopia's result against Central African Republic.  


Gordon Igesund has selected a strong team for the Botswana squad, awarding eight in-form overseas based players with opportunities to play for the national side.

This includes former captain Bongani Khumalo and PEC Zwolle midfielder Kamohelo Mokotjo.
The match will be played at Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban.
