Bloemfontein Celtic CEO Khumbulani Konco believes that the selection of Ruzaigh Gamildien in the Bafana squad for the Cosafa Cup is well deserved
Konco told the Bloemfoentein Celtic website that Gamalidien will do an outstanding job, especially since he is expected to make his debut in the Cosafa Cup.
“Ruzaigh Gamildien has been playing some excellent soccer and fully deserves his call-up and I believe if he keeps his head down, he could well prove to be a gem for the future,” he said.
The 24-year-old midfielder has been in superb form for Celtic and he is one of the players that are expected to feature in the Bafana setup in the future.
The CEO was also inspired about his skipper Thabo Nthethe being awarded the arm belt to lead Bafana during this tournament.
“Thabo Nthethe is a natural leader. It always has been and always will be a great honour for him personally, and for the club, that he has been named national captain.
“We are trying to build a top-class squad at Celtic and the national call-ups will only add experience and belief into the team,” he concluded.
