Bayana Banyana showed their experience during an impressive 5-0 win over Mozambique on Sunday afternoon in a friendly international match.
South Africa struggled to dominate early on, but as the match took shape Silindile Ngubane broke the deadlock 37 minutes in.
Joseph Mkhonza's team finished the first half leading 1-0, but the second stanza was to provide more goal-mouth action for Banyana Banyana.
The team turned up the heat early on in the second half as Celia Uate put the ball into the back of her own net, following a period of sustained pressure from Banyana.
Ngubane scored her second goal of the match following an incisive run and cross from captain Amanda Dlamini.
Dlamini continued her influence on the game with another slick pass to allow Nocawe Sikiti to chip the ball over the keeper to put Banyana Banyana four goals ahead.
Dlamini netted the fifth and final goal during an inspirational performance from the South African captain, which resulted in a "Diski Queen" of the game reward following the match.
