Talks between Safa and PSL officials ensued and were succesful, allowing Gordon Igesund to select players from the local league for the competition which runs from July the 6th until the 20th.

Safa CEO Dennis Mumble confirmed that the agreement has been made and enthused his happiness with the result of the talks.

"We will have a competitive team going to Lusaka," Mumble told reporters. "The meeting went well and we were able to find each other and there were firm commitments.
