South Africa's hopes of organizing a friendly match with Spain have fallen, but Bafana are satisfied to confirm the Lesotho fixture
A source inside the South Africa Football Association told Goal.com that Bafana Bafana was trying to fixture a friendly game with world and European champions Spain.
“We were hoping that we would get a friendly match with Spain, but things are not promising. We will now settle for Lesotho which is a team that I believe will give us a challenge and a great run,” he said.

The Lesotho match is scheduled to take place on June 1 at the Maseru Stadium, and it will be used as a preparation match for the World Cup qualifier against Central African Republic.
Despite not netting Spain, Lesotho will give Bafana some practice before they also have their crucial game against Ethiopia next month. Lesotho recently amazed most people when they played to a goalless draw with Zambia.

Bafana coach Gordon Igesund has stated that the advantage of playing against Lesotho will be that there will not be long distance traveling, so the players wont be fatigued.
