Although they are in a battle for the first choice position, Sandilands said he enjoys every moment that he spends with Khune in the Bafana camp.
“Being in the national team has been great for my game. I have learnt a lot of things of which I had not known before. I think the most important thing at this stage is to work hard and stay focused,” he said.
His club Mamelodi Sundowns are fighting for the top eight despite recent bumpy form.
“I am disappointed that we are not really getting the desired results. But I believe that as time goes by, things will be better. We just need to be consistent at all times. Getting the number one spot will only be determined by how well I do at the club, and that is why I must be more focused there,” he said.
