The explosive Platinum Stars winger will head to Tshwane next season and join Gavin Hunt's SuperSport United
Platinum Stars winger Thuso Phala will join SuperSport United next season, ending months of speculation concerning the player's future at Dikwena.

Phala will join Matsatsantsa on a three-year deal at the beginning of the 2013/2014 campaign according to The Sowetan.

The pacy winger has enjoyed a stellar season for Platinum Stars and was a force to be reckoned with for Bafana Bafana during the Africa Cup of Nations.

Phala was initially linked with a move to Kaizer Chiefs or Bidvest Wits, but the player's decision to join SuperSport United ends the current speculation about his future.

Phala's agent Tim Sukazi met with SuperSport United boss Stan Matthews where the deal was completed.

"I can confirm that we have reached an agreement with SuperSport United. It's a done deal. Thuso is still in Polokwane after featuring for Platinum Stars against Black Leopards in the Nedbank Cup," Sukazi told The Sowetan.

"It is a three-year contract. For now he is still committed to Stars and will continue to help them finish the season on a respectable position on the log," Sukazi concluded.
