thumbnail Hello,

Mamelodi Sundowns are interested in Moroka Swallows left back Sibusiso Khumalo's signature for next season

A source inside the Swallows club confirmed that there have been negotiations around the player making his move to the Brazilians home.

“Yes, they are interested in him and there are greater chances that he might be joining them. They are hoping to get his signature before the season ends,” said the source.

His agent Tim Sukazi said he is aware that Sundowns are after the player, but there is nothing concrete that the club has put on the table.

“I know that Sundowns are interested in him, but one can never be sure what will happen since, nobody has come directly to me to speak about him. At the moment it remains as rumours as there are only informal talks.

“We are willing to sit and negotiate with any club that might show interest in him. He is a young boy who works very hard and I am sure that he has a long way to go,” said Sukuzi.

Khumalo made a name for himself when he was promoted to the first team by their previous coach Gordon Igesund who is now coaching the national team, Bafana Bafana.
