thumbnail Hello,

Dean Furman could find himself in League Two next season if his Oldham Athletic side do not improve on their current league standing

ENGLAND
Dean Furman's Oldham Athletic lost once again this week against Tranmere Rovers, dropping into the relegation zone in League One. With two games in hand due to their remarkable FA Cup run, Furman's side will hope to secure maximum points against Hartlepool United and AFC Bournemouth. The danger of relegation will be firmly on the mind of Oldham captain Furman.

In the FA Cup, three goals in three minutes were too much to handle for Steven Pienaar's Everton, as Wigan Athletic booked a place in the FA Cup semi-finals. Pienaar played the full ninety minutes during the disappointing result for his side, who would have fancied their chances against a struggling Wigan team.

Pienaar will next face Manchester City in the Premier League during what should be a vital league outing for both teams as the season draws to an end.

Kagisho Dikgacoi played in both of Crystal Palace's fixtures in the past week, as the Eagles secured a 4-2 over Hull City and a dramatic 2-2 draw against Leeds United with Glen Murray scoring a late equaliser. Dikgacoi's side still looks set to capture a place in the promotion playoffs and could even force a direct route into the English Premier League, as they only sit one point below Watford in third on the Championship log.

GREECE
Bongani Khumalo's PAOK qualified for the next round of the Greek Cup with a 0-0 draw against Levadikos. However Khumalo did not make an appearance during the cup tie.

Bafana Bafana's captain was finally given an opportunity to shine against Platanias in the Greek Super League and played the full ninety minutes during his side's 2-1 win away from home.

PAOK next face Panathanikos in the league and Khumalo will hope he has cemented his spot in the starting line-up, a position he has failed to achieve since returning from national duty at the Africa Cup of Nations.
NETHERLANDS

Ajax decimated PEC Zwolle 3-0 in the Eredivise, but Thulani Serero was only given six minutes to shine during his side's victory on Saturday. Serero has struggled to maintain a starting place in Ajax's line-up since returning from injury

Ajax moved ahead of PSV Eindhoven in the Eredevisie standings after the convincing victory.

BELGIUM

Darren Keet's Kortrijk fell to their fourth straight loss after losing 1-0 against Lierse on Saturday, as the keeper let in yet another goal. Keet's side has dropped to ninth in the Belgian PRO League standings after the loss.

Anele Ngcongca did not play during Genk's five goal thriller against Gent in the Belgian PRO League, with his side scoring a 79th minute winner to seal all three points.
