Tembu Royals goalkeeper Langeni Gogo told Goal.com that his dream is to play for PSL club Golden Arrows and that is what inspired his performance against USuthu
Goal.com: You played really well, so how inspired were you to impress?
Gogo: Thank you, well my dream is to play for Golden Arrows, so I knew that if I do well now, there would be greater chances of them signing me in their squad.
Goal.com: How did it feel like playing against a professional team like AmaZulu, let alone winning the match?
Gogo: It really felt great and this is something that I had been longing for, for quite a long time. Before the match I told myself that this is my opportunity to shine and make a name for myself.
Goal.com: You were born in KZN and decided to go to the Eastern Cape for better opportunities, so do you miss home?
Gogo: Yes I do, as I only went to the Eastern Cape because I did not make it in the Arrows side, so their goalkeeper coach recommended me to a Vodacom team in the Eastern Cape that I played for, before joining Royals.
Goal.com: Apart from Arrows is there any other PSL team that you would like to play for?
Gogo: That will have to be AmaZulu or Maritzburg United. What is more interesting is that I have been given an opportunity to play against them. I want to use this tournament as a marketing strategy so that I can come back and play at home.
Goal.com: What do you hope to achieve now as a club and how has the Nedbank Cup journey been for you?
Gogo: It has been well, I have learnt a lot, and there are still a lot of work to be done. I wish that my team can advance all the way to the finals.
