thumbnail Hello,

Lamontville Golden Arrows skipper Joseph Musonda, told Goal.com that his side needs to keep their consistency and not take any team for granted

The Arrows skipper, Musonda said winning against Vardos in the Nedbank Cup, was a great boost for the club since they have been having problems with converting their chances this season.

"They were a good a team, and it was just unfortunate (for Vardos) that we beat them. If we had not taken the game very seriously they would have beaten us.

“We knew that they came into this match being so motivated and wanting to win. Even during the game they showed a lot of passion,” said Musonda

The Arrows defence was solid and Musonda said he is encouraging his players to remain consistent and communicate well.

“Our challenge has been converting goals, I mean we have created lot of great scoring opportunities and we just could not score. Going forward in this cup, we need to concentrate and not take our opponents for granted," he said.

Golden Arrows in-form striker, Musonda said his team is ready for their next opponents Stars, and he knows what to expect from them.

“They are not really a threat to us, as we know how they play and we look forward to playing against them. What is important at this stage is to utilize all the chances that we get.

“Our players are very motivated after scoring those four goals and it will all be up to us to continue from there,” said Musonda.
