Golden Arrows striker Thamsanqa Gabuza told Goal.com that his coach Manqoba Mngqithi is inspirational, after beating Vardos in the Nedbank Cup

Gabuza has been giving opposition goalkeepers a hard time since the season has restarted. He said besides hard work, his coach brings the best out of him.

“I think the credit should go to my coach. He knows me better and what is best for me. You will be aware that in the past seasons I have been struggling to be consistent, but all that is getting better since Mngqithi came in.

“The motivation that he brings is great, and he is able to communicate his vision very clearly. Apart from that, it always makes you feel special when you play under a coach that believes in you,” said Gabuza.

Gabuza scored in Arrows 4-0 thrashing of Vardos in the Nedbank Cup this weekend.

“This competition has been known for favouring the unknown teams, and therefore we needed to give it our all and not take them for granted.

“At the moment I can confirm that I am pleased with my performance. I have put so much hard work and every game I am able to create or even score at times. I think if I can just stay consistent, my game will be at another level,” he said.
