AmaZulu coach Craig Rosslee is planning to give players like Bongani Ndulula and Joseph Malongoane an opportunity to showcase their talent in the Nedbank Cup
Both the players have not featured much for USuthu, since signing this season. Rosslee’s team played impressive football but failed to convert many opportunities once again.
The main difference between their previous games with Golden Arrows is that this time there were less shots on target.
The coach said he is hoping to use players that have not had much game time, when they play in the Nedbank Cup against Temba Royals on the weekend.
“I am looking to give players, who have not featured much an opportunity to play. We have got a variety of quality players in our squad.
“I must also say that Nedbank, is not really our first priority, at the moment, so we need to get our act together in the league,” said Rosslee.
Coming back to the match against SuperSport, Rosslee said his chargers, played well and are getting better every day.
“We played well, I think there was a penalty in the first half, but the referee didn’t award us. Apart from that, I think the boys are really responding well with what I want to accomplish,” he said.
The coach also credited opposing coach Gavin Hunt who's team should be tired after Caf duty.
“I must say that Hunt did a brilliant job, with his players. I think he used his players well to hold us in this game. As much as I would have been happy to have walked away with three points, but I mean a point is something,” he said.
