thumbnail Hello,

Maritzburg United midfielder and playmaker Dillon Sheppard told Goal.com that he believes that his team can still finish in the top five

Despite the fact that his club has not won in their last two matches, following a 0-0 against AmaZulu and a 3-0 defeat over Sundowns, Sheppard still has high hopes for his team.

“Our goal, is to finish in the top five of the log, and that is what every player is working towards. I know things have not been easy in the PSL, but we are prepared to work on our mistakes and move forward,” said Sheppard.

The midfielder, who also played for Mamelodi Sundowns said that his move from Arrows to United, has been very fruitful for him.

“It is a great move, and I am enjoying myself every day, of which every player wants. It is all up to me to offer the club what I have. It is also good to see that the coach has so much faith in me," he said.

Sheppard believes he still has a long way to go, and feels that he addsvalue at United.

“If I can still play 90 minutes that means I still have what it takes to continue playing at this level. I will continue working hard and to put the team first before me,” he said.
