Sundowns hope to enter top six

Mamelodi Sundowns will be hoping to finish with maximum points when they host Golden Arrows on Tuesday

Mamelodi Sundowns are coming into this match with full confidence, after playing well against another KwaZulu-Natal side Maritzburg. The 3-0 victory inspired Pitso Mosimane's boys.

Teko Modise who was left out of the Afcon Bafana Bafana squad, is on fire and it looks like he is proving to Gordon Igesund that he made a mistake by leaving him out. His passes in the midfield were superb last week. He is expected to be partnered by Esrom Nyadoro in the middle of the park.

Golden Arrows are coming into this match after a defeat against AmaZulu. Their coach Manqoba Mngqithi agreed after the match that his boys did not play good football.

"We did not play well, as my players were all over the park. I am hoping that, against Sundowns there will be changes and my players will perform better. I know it wont be an easy game, but we just have to do our homework well," he said.

However Thamsanqa Gabuza will be one player that is guaranteed to give Sundowns keeper, Wayne Sandilands a hard time. Gabuza's fighting spirit can cause problems for the home team if they do not keep a close eye on him. He is expected to be assisted by the inform striker Bongi Ntuli, who struggled to get a goal against AmaZulu.

Captain Thanduyise Khuboni will be playing his usual role in the middle of the park to ensure that his team walk away with maximum points.
