Chiefs rally behind supporters to lift club back to summit

Kaizer Chiefs have warned Free State Stars that Saturday’s clash will be a different ball game in the PSL
Following their 0-0 draw against Mamelodi Sundowns on Tuesday night, Kaizer Chiefs Pro Vina Maphosa said that they are looking forward to an exciting game against Free State on Saturday night.

Maphosa, though admitted that Stars is a very dangerous team especially after their impressive mid-week result against Chippa United.

“Free State Stars will no doubt come with guns blazing following their midweek win against Chippa United, but they better be warned that the game at the FNB Stadium on Saturday night will be a totally different ball game. The FNB Stadium is our fortress and allows us to play our kind of football, ” said Maphosa.

Amakhosi’s Pro urged the supporters to come in numbers, and thanked those who have been faithful to the team.

“We would like to urge our supporters to come in their numbers in support of the team. They have played a massive role in the success of the team this season. We need to stand together and reclaim the glory,” he said.

Chiefs were replaced  by the defending champions Pirates at the top of the PSL log after they failed to collect maximum points in their previous match, and now trail the log leaders by a single point.
