Kaizer Chiefs PSL title ambitions boosted by the return of defender Morgan Gould from injury

The PSL game between Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs will go ahead as scheduled
Kaizer Chiefs will honour their PSL fixture against Mamelodi Sundowns on Tuesday, 12th February 2013.

The log leaders were apparently concerned about that match, because the majority of their top players were in the Bafana Bafana squad that represented the country in the 2013 Afcon.

“It is not our home game, it is Sundowns game so we cannot comment further, but we are willing to honour the fixture,” Vina Maphosa told Goal.com.

“We were not concerned about  the players that we had in the national team. We were just questioning the logic behind resuming with the PSL games immediately after the tournament,” said Maphosa.

Kaizer Chiefs have been boosted by the return of Morgan Gould who has fully recovered from a lengthy injury that cost him a place in the 2013 Afcon squad.

However, Gould is still waiting to hear from team doctors whether he will be fit enough to feature against Mamelodi Sundowns.
