Zimbabwe striker Mutuma in demand with Pirates and Celtic

Two PSL clubs are said to have an eye on the Zimbabwe forward from Harare champions Dynamos
Zimbabwe striker Rodreck Mutuma is being chased by at least two Premier Soccer League clubs according to his club, Harare outfit Dynamos.

Both champions Orlando Pirates and recent Telkom Knockout winners Bloemfontein Celtic are said to be interested in running their eye over the tall forward, who has had previous trials in South Africa at Ajax Cape Town but proved unsuccessful.

Dynamos had previously denied he was heading south and said they wanted him to play for them in the 2013 African Champions League.

But the possibility of a lucrative transfer fee have seemingly seen those initial objections disappear.

Mutuma is now said to be headed for a trial at Celtic in mid-month, but as they only return from holidays on January 14, there is also a chance he might test before that at Pirates.

The Buccaneers, who bought Takesure Chinyama from Dynamos in August, return from their holidays on January 8.
Mutuma was the top scorer in the Zimbabwe league in 2011 and helped Dynamos to retain their league and cup titles again this year, scoring vital goals in the run-in to the title in the last months of the season.
