Intensive three-day camp will help Igesund name his final 2013 Africa Cup of Nations squad on Sunday
The squad made up largely of home-based players that were involved in the 3-1 victory over Malawi on December 22 will now be joined by many of the overseas-based stars ahead of the final 23-man squad announcement on Sunday.
The squad will be camped at Monte Casino in Fourways, Johannesburg, and will train at the Orlando Stadium, starting Thursday.
The training session will take place at 16h00, when the likes of Ayanda Patosi and Ricardo Nunes are set to get their first taste of the build-up.
There will be two training sessions on Friday, at 10h00 and 16h00, and one more on Saturday at 10h00. After that the squad will disperse for New Year celebrations, with the final squad to be announced a day later at 15h00.
Those that are selected for the 23-man final squad will reconvene with coach Gordon Igesund on January 2.
Igesund is likely to play a number of training matches with the players in camp over these few days as he tries to see what combinations will work best for him.
