Many SA players just a few games away from lifting some silverware this season
South Africa’s overseas contingent will be involved in various domestic cup competitions this week in their respective countries.
Andrew Surman could return for English Premiership Norwich City as they host Aston Villa in the quarterfinals of the Capital One Cup on Tuesday night.
Surman has been missing through injury for more than a month now but is fit again after his knee problems.
In Belgium, Darren Keet and his Kortrijk side face second-tier Sint Truiden in the first leg of their cup quarterfinal on Wednesday. Keet lost 1-0 to Lokeren in the final of this competition last season, and will be desperate to go one better with his side.

Waregem are currently second in the Belgium league and flying high, with these teams set to meet again in the league at the weekend. Both second legs of these matches will be played on January 16.
In Greece, Bongani Khumalo will feature his PAOK side as they play the first leg of their cup clash away at second-tier side Aiginiakos on Thursday. The return fixture will be played on December 22.
Finally in Israel, goalkeeper Dani Amos and his Ironi Kiryat Shmona side face-off against Hapoel Be'er Sheva in the first leg of their Toto Cup Ligat Al quarterfinal on Wednesday. The second leg will be played next week Tuesday.
