3-0 Golden Arrows
SuperSport United 1-2 Kaizer Chiefs

Majoro has been prolific for Kaizer Chiefs this season, netting six goals in only eight appearances for the league leaders. He enjoyed a golden week with two excellent outings against Golden Arrows and SuperSport United. He opened the scoring during Chiefs 3-0 rout of Arrows and proved to be the difference against Matatsantza, scoring the first goal and the eventual winner with a sliding finish after latching on to a Mor Diouf long ball. After Bernard Parker's intitial early flurry of goals this season, Majoro has taken over as the league leader's goal scorer and has proved to be the difference on a number of occasions. He has coupled excellent movement in the box with an instinctive goal poaching ability and has earned praise from Kaizer Chiefs head coach Stuart Baxter. Majoro currently sits on second spot on the top goal scorers list, tied with Moroka Swallows frontman Katlego Mashego.

Congratulations to Lehlohonolo Majoro,'s 6th South Africa Player of the Week winner!

Honourable Mention

Lerato Manzini– Bloemfontein Celtic

Manzini proved to be Celtic's "supersub" by finishing an excellent late goal on Sunday, turning a certain draw into three points for the Bloemfontein side. Manzini has been used as an impact player for the majority of the season and stayed true to form looking dangerous on the ball and weighing in with the crucial winner.

Enocent Mkhabela - Platinum Stars

Stars continue to impress this season and Enocent Mkhabela llifted his side to another win with two goals against Bidvest Wits on Saturday. The midfielder was a part of a side which dominated during the clash against the Clever Boys and richly deserved his two goal tally with an all-round performance.

Mkhanyiseli Siwahla – Chippa United

League strugglers Chippa United earned a late draw against Moroka Swallows thanks to an excellent goal by Siwahla, who single-handedly created and finished his team's equaliser in the dying embers of the game. Chippa will need more heroic performances and goals like Siwahla's if they are to survive the drop this season.

Each week our team of writers will put forward a selected candidate, as chosen by South Africa, who deserves recognition for achieving something special that matchday.

You can also help us choose a worthy recipient of the weekly accolade by leaving your nominations and comments. Your suggestions will be taken into consideration.

It won't necessarily be the best player in the country - at least not usually - but whoever we crown will have accomplished something amazing. It might be for a particularly awesome performance or for something praiseworthy off the pitch - either way, the person in question deserves special attention...
