Bafana Bafana captain continues his excellent start to the new English Premiership season

South African captain Steven Pienaar was once again in outstanding form for Everton as they completed a handsome 3-0 away win at Swansea City.

Pienaar had a 92 percent pass completion rate, more than any player on the pitch, and set up the second goal for Kevin Mirallas. In all, he created four chances for his side.

Kagiso Dikgacoi played for English Championship side Crystal Palace as they came from two goals down to beat Cardiff City 3-2 at home thanks to a hat-trick (including two penalties) from Glenn Murray.

Kgosi Ntlhe’s Peterborough United suffered a seventh-straight Championship loss as they went down 2-0 at home to Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Dean Furman’s Oldham Athletic were beaten 1-0 away at Brentford in League One.

Ayanda Patosi’s Lokeren were within two minutes of recording a victory at home to OH Leuven, but had to settle for a 2-2 draw after a late equalizer from Karel Geraerts for the visitors.

There was frustration also for goalkeeper Darren Keet as his Kortrijk side lost 2-1 at Beerschot, the decisive goal being a penalty for the home side 16 minutes from time.

There was still no sign of the injured duo of Daylon Claasen and Lance Davids for Lierse as they were held 1-1 away at Waasland-Beveren.

Bongani Khumalo played for PAOK in Greece as they won 3-0 at Skoda Xanthi to move to the top of the table, for 24 hours at least.
