Dikgacoi keeps scoring form

Bafana Bafana midfielder Kagisho Dikgacoi headlines the performances of South Africans abroad this weekend
Kagisho Dikgacoi scored his third goal in five starts for English Championship side Crystal Palace this weekend as he continued his excellent start to the campaign for his club.

Dikgacoi was excused from national team duty against Mozambique last Tuesday, so that he could be back in England in time for the fixture against Charlton Athletic and he supplied an excellent winner just after halftime to move his team away from the relegation zone.

Kgosi Ntlhe was left out of the Peterborough United side that lost 5-2 at Burnley after manager Darren Ferguson decided he needed rest following his travels to Brazil and South Africa for Bafana Bafana.

South African-born Andrew Surman was in the Norwich City team that drew 0-0 with West Ham United on Saturday though, while Dean Furman, who won high praise for his exploits with Bafana recently, played for League One side Oldham as they were held 2-2 by division leaders Oldham Athletic.

Ayanda Patosi played for Lokeren as they won 1-0 away at Cerlce Brugge in Belgium, while Darren Keet was in goal for Kortrijk in their 1-1 draw with leaders Club Brugge. Anele Ngcongca of Genk and the Lierse duo of Daylon Claasen and Lance Davids were all missing with injury.

Also missing was Thulani Serero for Ajax Amsterdam as he sat out their 2-0 win over RKC Waalwijk with suspension, while Kamohelo Mokotjo did not make the Feyenoord match day squad after he too had been on national team duty.

Bongani Khumalo played at centre-back for Greek side PAOK as they won 2-1 at home to Asteras Tripolis, while Ricardo Nunes was back in the Zilina side for their 2-2 draw at Banská Bystrica in the Slovakian League.

Siyanda Xulu will have to wait to make his debut for Russian Premier League side FC Rostov after he was not in their match day squad for the 1-0 win over Dinamo Moscow on Sunday. He has only just arrived with the team and will likely be phased in slowly to the starting XI.
