South Africa to take on Mozambique at Mbombela Stadium

The Rainbow Nation will host their Southern African neighbours in a friendly encounter that will be played in the 2010 World Cup host city
Mbombela Stadium will be the venue when South Africa host Mozambique in an international friendly in September.

The South Africans face the Mambas on September 11, four days after a clash against five-time world champions Brazil at Estadio do Morumbi in Sao Paolo.

The match against the South Americans will signal Gordon Igesund’s first game in charge of Bafana Bafana.

The national team is preparing to represent the country as host of the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations, and matches against Brazil and Mozambique are meant to help prepare Igesund's charges for the tournament in January and February next year.
