|World Player of the Week|
|Bayern Munich||0-4||Real Madrid|
Real Madrid's forward department are regular winners of our weekly prize but seven days after Cristiano Ronaldo yet again got our vote, this time it's the turn of Sergio Ramos to enjoy the limelight after a remarkable week in both boxes for the centre-back.
Goal's Miguel Churruca said: "Sergio Ramos this week became the unexpected hero for Real Madrid as los Blancos secured their spot in the Champions League final in Germany after a brilliant win against Bayern Munich.
"It was in the first quarter of the game when the Andalusian centre-back managed to score twice thanks to two fine headers. He was the key man for Carlo Ancelotti's side in earning a victory in a stadium they'd never conquered before.
"The Spain international was an important man in the 36th La Liga matchday as well, when Real Madrid hosted Valencia after Barcelona & Atletico didn't get the win. It was not the best game for the 'merengue' side as they failed to capitalise on Atletico Madrid's defeat to Levante, but Ramos again played his part with another goal to make it 1-1.
