Kaizer Chiefs target Sibusiso Vilakazi will only leave Bidvest Wits for an overseas club, this is according to the Clever Boys CEO Jose Ferreira, who spoke exclusively to Goal
It is believed that, the Soweto giants are still keen on acquiring the services of the talented player who netted 13 times for Wits last season.
"Look, Vilakazi is our player and he will be staying with us. He will not be sold to a local team. No chance whatsoever," Ferreira told Goal.
In the past the 24-year-old midfielder was linked with a few European clubs. English Premier League outfit Sunderland and Danish side Brondby are some of the clubs that were reportedly chasing Vilakazi's services.
Nonetheless, nothing materialized, and the Soweto-born player is likely to remain with the Braamfontein oufit for the upcoming 2014/2015 PSL season. This is despite renewed local interest.
"However, if we receive a good offer from overseas, we will not stand in his way. That's the current situation regarding Vilakazi," he concluded.
