The 27-year-old Masenamela broke into the Bafana squad while still at Chiefs, but later lost his place following a long term injury he suffered two seasons ago

Mamelodi Sundowns could lose full-back Punch Masenamela at the end of the season, if the two parties don't reach an agreement at the end of this month.
Masenamela's contract with the Brazilians expires at the end of June this year, and the Tshwane giants have had their first offer rejected by the player.
The former Kaizer Chiefs defender hasn't seen much of a game time since recovering from a long term injury last year, and Goal understands that the player wants more game time than anything else.
Masenamela has spent much of his time on the sidelines, as Pitso Mosimane continues to use either Tebogo Langerman or Mzikayise Mashaba in the left-back position.
Mosimane has previously made it clear that he will only pick players based on their performances, and whether Masenamela hasn't been that impressive at training it is unknown.
However, it is an open secret that several clubs are keeping an eye on Masenamela's situation at Sundowns, and would jump to sign the player at the end of the season.
