The AmaKhosi tactician believes Musona needs time to adapt his style of play, and tells Goal he is not going to be critical of the Zimbabwean yet

Musona has played two competitive games for AmaKhosi since joining on loan from Bundesliga side TSG Hoffenheim, but he has not found the back of the net.
However, Baxter says he will be patient with the Zimbabwean forward and that he needs to play more games to settle in the PSL.

“He scored against Bloem Celtic. He’s been dangerous in the games and I said when he came, I believe I need to give the player between seven to ten games before we can start judging properly,” Baxter told Goal after their 3-0 win over AmaTuks.
Baxter, who has guided Chiefs to two consecutive victories so far this season, feels Musona needs to face the opposition’s goal more often so that he can start scoring goals.
“Now he just played a lot more to feet with his back to goals in Germany than I want my players to play. I certainly want Knowledge to turn around more. I certainly want him to be moving more. I want to find him in those positions better and I think that process is going well.

“From where I am standing, he is having moves. I think Knowledge will score. I am not going to be over critical of Knowledge’s qualities until he’s played those five or six games and then maybe I will start asking questions,” he said.
The Chiefs mentor has praised the level of professionalism showed by Musona since he came back from Germany, and he believes that the 23-year-old striker will prove to be a great signing for them this season.
“It is a pleasure working with him. He works very hard. I am not worried about that [scoring goals], I think he is a good player and I am sure he’s going to prove to be a fantastic acquisition,” added Baxter.
