TEAM NEWS: Moses starts, Uche replaces injured Emenike for Nigeria against Burkina Faso

The Spartak Moscow striker is out injured and will miss the opportunity to win the top scorer award in Sunday’s final game

Nigeria will miss Emmanuel Emenike in Sunday’s Africa Cup of Nations final after he failed to pass fitness test in their game against Burkina Faso at the National Stadium in Johannesburg.

In his stead, Ikechukwu Uche will return to the Nigeria starting XI.

There’s good news though as Victor Moses will start after fears that he could miss the final.

Danger man Jonathan Pitroipa returns for the Stallions after he was cleared by Caf following the cancellation of his red card from the semi final encounter against Ghana.

Alain Traore is back on the bench following his injury absence in their last two games.
