TEAM NEWS: Nigeria announce unchanged starting XI against Mali

The Super Eagles will play with the same side that defeated the Ivorians last week in Wednesday’s game against the Malians

Nigeria have announced an unchanged starting XI that will take on Mali in Wednesday’s semi final clash of the Africa Cup of Nations in Durban.

Stephen Keshi kept faith with the same side that defeated Cote D’Ivoire in Rustenburg. Speculations had arisen about the possibility of midfielder Fegor Ogude returning to the side after serving his suspension for getting two yellow cards in the preliminary stage.

Captain Joseph Yobo is snubbed in favour of youngster Kenneth Omeruo in central defence as Efe Ambrose will keep his place in right back.

John Obi Mikel and goal scorer Sunday Mba also continue in midfield while the trio of Victor Moses, Emmanuel Emenike and Ideye Brown spearhead the attack.
