Bafana's injury curse hasn't lifted, as another striker could be potentially out, this time Tokelo Rantie. Goal.com South Africa spoke to the man we will rely on Katlego Mphela
Bafana Bafana might be without striker Tokelo Rantie for their important, last Group A match against Morocco in Durban on Sunday.
The Bafana team doctor Carl Tabane gave the latest on Rantie's injury.
“It is nothing major, compared to Lehlohonolo Majoro, so we are doing everything in our power to have him ready for Sunday's match,” said Tabane.
Coach Gordon Igesund is most likely to start with Katlego Mphela and Bernard Parker. Mphela told Goal.com South Africa, that he hopes to improve his performance and score this time.
“I can’t really say that was my best performance. At the moment the most important thing is that we play as a team, and honestly it doesn’t really matter who scores.
“So long as the team wins, then I am happy,” said Mphela who has not scored in the 2013 Afcon yet, but didn't start in the opener against Cape Verde.
Meanwhile Kagisho Dikgacoi and Lerato Chabangu are both back training. The pair were taking it easy in training in Durban.
