Local Black Stars preparations for Brazil tourney going well - Lutterodt

The assistant coach of the Local Black Stars, Dauda Lutterodt admits his team's preparations for the tournament in Brazil are going according to plan

The assistant coach of the Local Black Stars, Dauda Lutterodt, says he is so far satisfied with the performances of his charges as they prepare for a tournament in Brazil.

Twenty-seven players chosen from the premier league clubs are currently based in Obuasi training for the assignment.

The number will be whittled down to 20 before the team departs for Sao Paolo, Brazil on January 8.

The four-nation tournament will take place on January 11 and 12, 2013.

“The boys are doing well at training; I like how they are fighting hard for places.

“All of them are desperate to make the Brazil trip and I can say all is well in camp," Lutterodt told Goal.com Ghana.

The event will offer the team a good platform as they prepare for the 2014 CHAN qualifiers against Benin June.

Lutterodt is acting as head coach since Akwesi Appiah, who doubles as the manager of the Black Stars is busy preparing for the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations.
