Kaizer Chiefs have officially confirmed that their Caf Champions League first leg fixture against Muculmana of Mozambique will be played at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on March 1.
AmaKhosi's corporate and communications manager Vina Maphosa told Goal that they would have liked to play at the FNB Stadium, but they were informed that the venue will not be available.
"We would have liked to play our game (against Muculmana) at the FNB Stadium, but were told the venue will not be available on March 1," Maphosa told Goal. "We will now be playing at the Moses Mabhida Stadium," he said.
The Stadium Management South Africa have since confirmed that musician Carlos Santana will be performing at the venue on the same day, therefore leaving Chiefs with no option but to move their game.
"(Carlos) Santana will be performing at the FNB Stadium on Saturday 1st March 2014," reads the statement on the Stadium Management SA website.
The Soweto giants got their Caf campaign off to a great start, hammering Black Africa of Namibia 3-0 at the FNB Stadium before drawing 1-1 away from home last weekend.
